Isfahan Cement Holding
Isfahan Cement Company is one of the initial cement factories in Iran. This factory is located in south western of Isfahan city and has been founded and registered by the effort of the late Ali and Hossein Hamedanian. Isfahan Cement Company has started its activity by a production around 200 ton clinker per day since 1958. The capacity of this factory has been increased through 6 phases so that at present day it produces 3200 ton clinker per day. Cement has been the driving engine for development in the world during the past one century.
The cement is one of the most important factors of our country development and this product has played an outstanding role in the growth and development of Isfahan province.
In a few last decades this company has been so proud of supplying the needed cement of some important and infrastructural projects of our country by contributing to overall development of the province and country.
Application of products
- Portland cement type 1-325
Portland cement type 1(class325) is utilized when there is no need to high special environmental condition and high compressive strengths. Such as the roads, pavements, general applications and mortars for usage in buildings.
- Portland cement type 1-425
Portland cement type1 (class 425) is usable in structures when higher compressive strength is required with no kind of chemical agents attack. Such as application in reinforced concrete structures and concrete T beams as precast concrete parts.
- Portland cement type 2
This type is a moderate sulfate resistant cement type and is appropriate for usage in adjacent of underground waters and everywhere that is probable for chemicals attack. This kind of Cement also can be used in relatively voluminous structures such as large bridges pillars and for concreting in warm weather conditions. The cement type 2 produced by Isfahan cement is recommended for usage in high compressive strength structures.
- Portland cement type 3(rapid hardening)
This type of cement has got a higher initial strength than other types of cement and is used in fast utilizations of structures and also in cold weather conditions.
- Portland cement type5
This type is celled as high sulfate resistant and is used normally in applications probable to high sulfate attacks and in environments with high sulfate content waters and soils. This cement type is generally recommended for usage in water and sewage projects.
- Pozzolanic Portland cement(PPC)
This type is normally used for general applications, especially in places with together problems of sulfate and chloride existence. This type also can be used in adjacent of sea waters and salty water canals.
- Special pozzolanic Portland cement
This type is mainly recommended for usage somewhere that chloride can cause high corrosions and because of its low heat of hydration this cement type is usable for voluminous concretings such as application in dam construction. On other hand it can be utilized widely for mortar working in buildings construction.
- Slag Portland cement
The application of this cement type is very similar to the cement type 1-325 in addition to having good resistance in front of corrosions caused by sulfate and chloride salts.
- Sulfate resistant slag Portland cement
This type is recommended for places which are exposed hardly by sulfate such as sewage shafts, water canals and for mortar works. Generally because of its low heat of hydration this cement type is usable for voluminous concretings.
